Blue Marble Defenders is a new series of stories aimed at 7 to 12 year olds combining action, suspense, science, and baseball.
The two main characters are brothers. The older’s name is Foremost-Inventor-and-All-Around-Genius, but his family and friends call him Leo, short for Leonardo. The younger’s name is Rookie, but his family and friends call him Oh-Great-One-who-Plays-Baseball-Like-a-Pro. (Just kidding, they call him Rookie.)
Their Mom is a public health scientist, yoga teacher, and English teacher. Their father, Pops, is a university professor who researches planets in and beyond our solar system.
The family and a network of like-minded friends are Blue Marble Defenders. They protect our planet from asteroid collisions, extra-terrestrial aliens, dangerous organisms, and Earth’s own home-grown bad guys and polluters.
Ingenuity, invention, and courage are the Blue Marble Defenders’ main tools. Governments around the world depend on them and the family moves to wherever they’re needed.
